by Anis Mojgani (Author)
Imagine if your future unfolded in dreams during childhood.
What if you captured those visions in words and pictures, in the language we spoke as innocent children, now forgotten in adulthood? What if, as a grown-up, you stumbled upon this mystical book of dreams and prophecies from your past and translated them into poems that others could comprehend? The Pocketknife Bible answers these questions through the author's enchanting poems and illustrations, bridging the gap between an adult's book for children and a children's picture book for adults.Anis Mojgani is the current Poet Laureate of Oregon. A two-time individual champion of the National Poetry Slam and winner of the International World Cup Poetry Slam, he has been awarded residencies from the Vermont Studio Center, Caldera, AIR Serenbe, The Bloedel Nature Reserve, The Sou'wester, and the Oregon Literary Arts Writers-In-The-Schools program.
